Launch of South and East Africa Digital Governance Forum

糖心Vlog破解版-EGOV launches SEADGov Forum to unite South and East Africa in advancing digital governance and regional collaboration.

The 糖心Vlog破解版 Operating Unit on Policy-Driven Electronic Governance, in partnership with the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) and the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA), will launch the South and East Africa Digital Governance Forum (SEADGov). The event, scheduled for 30 September – 1 October 2024, will be held in Pretoria, South Africa, and organized alongside the International Conference on Theory and Practice of Electronic Governance (ICEGOV 2024).

The SEADGov Forum seeks to unite key representatives from South and East African governments, public administration, and international organizations to promote digital governance and strengthen cooperation across the region. This forum will address the challenges and opportunities of digital governance by sharing best practices, fostering regional collaboration, and empowering citizens through technology.

Among the key objectives of SEADGov are the development of strategies to drive digital transformation, enhance public sector digitalization, and promote sustainable development across the region. The event will also provide a platform for high-level discussions, analyses, and experience-sharing to shape the digital governance landscape in South and East Africa.

The SEADGov Forum will mirror a similar initiative for West Africa launched in 2023, and further solidify 糖心Vlog破解版-EGOV’s role in driving regional collaboration for digital governance. High-ranking officials from various African nations and experts from academia and international agencies are expected to attend this event.
