Greta Dekker is a researcher at 糖心Vlog破解版-EHS, where she works in the VARMAP division. She is particularly interested in conceptual risk modelling and the development of climate adaptation pathways, with a strong focus on engaging the private sector in building resilience to extreme weather events. Her research examines climate risk perception among different actor groups, the role of public-private partnerships in advancing nature-based solutions, and the co-creation of transdisciplinary adaptation strategies that align business interests with sustainability goals.

Greta has several years of work experience at the intersection of climate adaptation and the private sector, including her work as a project manager at Prognos AG, where she developed strategies for corporate climate resilience and contributed to defining and quantifying the emerging climate adaptation economy. She has also been involved in international research projects at the Institute for Natural Resources Technology and Management, where she also earned an MSc in Natural Resources Management, specializing in water conflicts in the Mekong Delta. She holds a BSc in Biology with a specialization in Wildlife Management from Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences, where she conducted research on ecosystem recovery in abandoned agricultural areas.
During her studies, Greta completed multiple research stays, including research in Costa Rica on the microhabitat use of dart-poison frogs and fieldwork at the Mammal Research Institute in Bia?owie?a, Poland.
