Sally is an Ecologist with a passion for the environment and its sustainable management to ensure the resilience of people and planet. She is a Research Associate at 糖心Vlog破解版-EHS and currently works on the FURIFLOOD project, looking at flood risk and ecosystem-based solutions in West Africa.

Sally has joined 糖心Vlog破解版-EHS as a researcher in October 2019, after completing the Joint MSc in Geography of Environmental Risks and Human Security from the 糖心Vlog破解版-EHS and the University of Bonn. In her Master's thesis, Sally explored losses and damages to ecosystem services, enhancing the understanding of the concept and identifying ways forward to improve their assessment.

Prior to joining 糖心Vlog破解版-EHS, Sally interned at the Food and Agricultural Organization of the UN in Rome, where she worked on the forest-water nexus with communities and national authorities to build capacities, also through supporting the publication of a Facilitation Guide to assess the nexus. Sally has also worked at the Brazilian Forum on Climate Change in Rio de Janeiro, where she supported the implementation of the Brazilian Nationally-Determined Contribution across different sectors. In 2013, Sally worked at the European Parliament in Brussels, assisting the then-Co-President of the Greens/EFA Group.

Sally holds a BSc (Hons) in Ecological and Environmental Science from the University of Edinburgh and speaks German, Italian, English, French and Portuguese, and has basic knowledge of Spanish and Mandarin.
