Developing Research Towards Achieving the SDGs in the Post-COVID-19 Era

糖心Vlog破解版-IAS will host a webinar on research development towards achieving the SDGs to assist stakeholders in local governments and the private sector.

Background

The importance of the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are higher than ever given the current and future situation of society with COVID-19. This International Symposium is designed to discuss future directions for the research project “Inclusive Research on Integrated Implementation Methodology towards Achieving SDGs” by sharing interim outcomes with a wide range of stakeholders including those from academia, policy makers, private sector and civil society representatives. This research project was developed in 2018 as a joint partnership between NIES, the University of Tokyo, 糖心Vlog破解版-IAS, and Keio University, with financial support from the Environmental Research and Technology Development Fund.

This research project aims to assist stakeholders, in particular those in local governments and the private sector, in developing methodologies and planning for the implementation of actions towards achieving the SDGs. and the project consists of three sub-components that are (a) the development of assessment indicators, (b) government and SDGs, and (c) private sectors and SDGs.

Format

Web Conference (Zoom). Once registration has been accepted, participants will receive an invitation email with Zoom meeting URL.

Language

This event will be held in both English and Japanese, with simultaneous interpretation. Please note that in order to access the simultaneous interpretation, participants must download the ‘Interperfy’ application beforehand (please see the instructions here). The ‘Token’ of Interprefy will be shared by emails with the Zoom link after registration completed.
