This report outlines practical insights from the financial sector, with a specific focus on the banking sector and the regulatory/supervisory authorities overseeing the financial sector, in their responses to the financial inclusion needs of persons forcibly displaced by the war in Ukraine who are highly vulnerable to modern slavery, including human trafficking.

The ways in which financial institutions as well as public regulatory/supervisory authorities have innovated specific products and processes for displaced people in this context offers important lessons to others in the sector on how to meet the needs of vulnerable people in current and future crises around the world.
