This practical guide is designed to facilitate the integration of landscape approaches into National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans (NBSAPs) �� essential instruments for countries to achieve the goals and targets of the Kunming�CMontreal Global Biodiversity Framework. Landscape approaches are landscape governance strategies that consider the ecological, social and economic context of a particular area, aiming to harmonize human activities with biodiversity conservation.

Based on extensive research, the publication incorporates insights from NBSAP analyses, surveys, and consultations, including a key at the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) Geneva meetings in March 2022 and subsequent in April 2022. The guide, complemented by a , results from collaboration led by the Secretariat of the (IPSI) at ��Vlog�ƽ��-IAS, with the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies, the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity, the Ministry of the Environment, Japan, and the University of Tokyo Institute for Future Initiatives.
